Job Title: Cigar Sales Representative
Location: Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia, Baltimore and Pennsylvania
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer
Job Summary:
As a Cigar Representative, you will be the face of Majestic Cigars within your assigned region, responsible for promoting and selling our premium cigar products to retail locations, lounges, bars, and also attending events. Your role will require a passion for the cigar industry, strong sales abilities, and a commitment to building lasting relationships with customers. You will be expected to drive brand awareness, maintain relationships with existing clients, and expand our customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Distribution:
1. Drive sales by promoting and selling our cigars to lounges, retailers, and cigar bars within your assigned region.
2. Negotiate pricing, volume, and promotional offerings with accounts.
3. Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
4. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Brand Advocacy & Education:
1. Represent Majestic Cigars in a professional and enthusiastic manner at industry events, and trade shows.
2. Share in-depth knowledge about our cigars, including blends, origins, and production processes.
- Customer Relationship Management:
1. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business
2. Provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction and repeat orders.
3. Collect customer feedback to help shape future products
- Promotions & Marketing:
1. Organize events, and other brand-building activities to increase brand visibility and drive sales.
- Inventory Management:
1. Work closely with the distribution teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate inventory.
2. Monitor stock levels at retail locations and place orders to replenish as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
1. Customer service and sales experience, ideally in the cigar, tobacco, or related industries.
2. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Experience working with high-end luxury products is a plus.
- Knowledge:
1. In-depth knowledge of cigars, cigar production, and the cigar industry is preferred.
2. Strong understanding of customer needs and buying behaviors within the cigar market.
- Skills:
1. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
2. Strong problem-solving abilities with the ability to handle complex sales situations.
3. Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
